People who have helped so much through the Post War years to keep members of the 594th together include (but are not limited
to) the following individuals: Archie Anderberg, Bill Zichos, Dave Ziegler, Bob Lewis and James Koeppen of Company C, Boat Battalion, Edgar Gilday, Ephraim Hansell and Hugh Day of Company B, Boat Battalion. These
men put great effort into looking up names and addresses of people they had not seen or heard from in fifty years.
People from the 594th who worked hard putting together the many of the reunions are: Archie Anderberg, Alex McFaul, Bill
Zichos, Dave Ziegler, Jack Bugos, Ephraim Hansell, Bob Lewis, Wilson Nobles, Douglas Russell and Thelma & John Thomas. A special thanks to Hugh Day and Geaton DiZebba
for working those long hours building the scale models of our Landing Craft Mechanized, and to Patricia W. Echoles who worked so many hours helping to organize and kept the San Antonio reunion operating at a fast, smooth pace.
It would be a project in itself to list all the people who have helped with this web site. Some examples:
Roy Don Page who sent in the photographs and other information about his W.W.II experience.
Maureen Harrison Gelber who sent in the information on 594th, Company D history.
